March: Fuel Price Update

According to data released in the Oil Bulletin of the European Union (EU), the prices of petrol and diesel have reached their highest level since November 2008 when energy prices started to fall due to the outbreak of the economic crisis.
A litre of petrol will cost an average of 1.119 euros this week, beating the previous year high of 1.108 euros, reached in January, while diesel prices have now been more than one euro for two consecutive weeks and average 1.010 euros per litre. Fuel prices in Spain are therefore at their highest for 16 months.
